Research- Arctic

This piece focuses on a character who lives in arctic where one day he gets a letter to meet someone at night. However, at first he fails as the night just skips within the animation. Giving the short film a humour accent to it. Later on, he succeeds meeting the person who addressed the letter but it turned out it was a kid who was playing around with him. Overall, the piece had started off in a serious tone however as it progressed it turned into a comedy skit.

Furthermore, another interesting ideology is that we don't know when two people meet up whether they can see each other or not. However, the viewer is certain that he can see both characters due to the side shot that the creator has used to present the shot.

Furthermore, with this animation it is evident use of depth of field to manipulate what the viewer has to focus on. For example in this shot the focus is first pulled on to the sun however after the viewer has established the setting the focus is pulled back on two main characters within the animation.
